Sarah Angel, born in London raised in Bolton, embarked on her modelling career from 16 years old, it was already clear then that she had a flair for not only modelling but styling herself and others. She was scouted by a highly established fashion and beauty photographer in Manchester and quickly went on to be published in Black Hair and Beauty Magazine, as well as gracing the cover and pages of numerous magazines internationally. Her unique approach to her craft has led to her working with hair, makeup, fashion and music brands such as L’Oreal, Wella, Sassoon, IIIamasqua, P Louise Makeup Academy, Buffalo, Gruum, Global star Shakka and interviewed on her unique approach to her craft by BBC radio, Legacy, NTS and Unity radio.
In the past two years, Model, Artist and Singer-Songwriter Sarah Angel has been flaunting her experimental-soul sound across the UK; Still a newcomer on the scene but moving fiercely, her first single nostalgia funk-drenched ‘Phonecall’ produced by Kardanski (Kid British) was featured in Foot-asylums Women's Winter Fashion Campaign - with follow up single ‘YOU’ paired with a glossy, Sarah-styled video, featured on publications universally including Gritty Magazine & Music Crowns.
Sarah’s versatility and creative passion has led her into the creation of her style blog, fashion films, and subsequent music videos, working both in front of the camera and behind the scenes in artistic and co-direction.
She has released 11 music videos and 19 singles to date with a 7 track EP on the way. Solidifying her spot as one of the most consistent and innovative artists coming out of Manchester with music featured on Kyra TV, BBC three, ITV, BBC radio 5live, BBC Introducing, The Shade Room and countless fashion, beauty and bloggers with thousands of followers advertisements across the globe.
Delving from RnB, Soul to Alternative house-funk, Miss Angel has taken to many stages, supporting the likes of Alfa Mist, Joel Baker, Jordan Max, White Yardie and many more, achieving all this on her own without the support of any labels, publishers or private investors.
Miss Angel's inspirations range from the likes of Prince, Jill Scott, David Bowie, Busta Rhymes, Kanye West, Andre 3000, Ru Paul, Erykah Badu and so many more, in her own words - ‘I want to create alternate universes with both my fashion and music in which people can delve into and loose themselves.’
